Chanel demonstrates Pre-Fall 2025 collection
The women’s line, titled Métiers d’Art Chanel
The House of Chanel presented its Pre-Fall 2025 collection, once again designed without the involvement of a creative director. The show took place in Hangzhou, a city Coco Chanel never visited, yet its landscapes adorned one of the 32 screens in her Paris apartment.
The runway opened with total black ensembles featuring long coats, satin trenches, and classic tweed suits. The concept of the screens heavily inspired the creative team, who reimagined their motifs in the collection’s designs, with blooming florals and picturesque Chinese gardens woven into knit bodysuits and layered looks.
The outfits were completed with tiered necklaces, opera-length satin gloves, clutches, and matching bags, adding an exquisite touch to each look in the Pre-Fall 2025 collection.
