Emerald waves kiss the shores of pristine white-sand beaches, the sun paints the sky in warm sunset hues, and the fresh aroma of seafood fills the air. Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s tropical paradise, captivates from the very first moment. The ELLE O’zbekiston editorial team has compiled a list of must-visit locations for an unforgettable journey on the island.

VinWonders Theme Park & Safari

VinWonders Phu Quoc is the largest amusement park in Vietnam, offering everything from thrilling rides to immersive Nordic Viking experiences, an underwater tunnel, and spectacular fountain shows. Meanwhile, Safari Phu Quoc is the island’s first and only wildlife park, home to over 150 species living in habitats that closely resemble their natural environments.

The World’s Longest Cable Car

In 2018, Phu Quoc became home to the world’s longest cable car system, spanning nearly 8 km. The Phu Quoc Cable Car connects Phu Quoc Island to Hon Thom Island, offering breathtaking views of the sea, islands, and beaches during a 15-minute ride. At the end of the journey, visitors arrive at Sun World Hon Thom, where they can relax or enjoy exciting water attractions.

Kiss Bridge

A stunning new architectural landmark, the Kiss Bridge is a symbol of romance and picturesque beauty. Its two curved sections almost touch, leaving a symbolic gap, just enough for lovers to reach out for a kiss.

Phu Quoc Night Market

For a true culinary adventure, the Phu Quoc Night Market is the place to be. Fresh seafood, exotic fruits, and the island’s famous black pepper fill the vibrant stalls. Beyond food, the market is a treasure trove of souvenirs, from pearl jewelry to fragrant Vietnamese coffee and locally made sweets.

Phu Quoc Pearl Farm

The legendary Ngọc Trai Ngọc Hiền Pearl Farm is one of the island’s oldest and most prestigious. For over 20 years, it has cultivated genuine sea pearls using advanced Japanese techniques. Visitors can witness every step of the pearl cultivation process, from the implantation of a nucleus into an oyster to the formation of a luminous pearl inside the shell.

The farm also houses a boutique, offering natural pearl jewelry in a variety of colors and shapes, making it the perfect place for a special keepsake.

Ho Quoc Temple

The largest Buddhist sanctuary on Phu Quoc, Ho Quoc Temple, stuns visitors with its grand architecture and serene atmosphere. Perched on a scenic hillside overlooking the sea, it offers an ideal retreat for meditation and reflection. With white pagodas, intricately carved dragons, and a towering Buddha statue, this temple exudes spiritual grandeur. The breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline make it not only a sacred site but also one of the island’s most photogenic spots.

Starfish Beach

Few places in the world allow you to wade through clear waters dotted with living stars. One of the most famous spots is Rach Vem Beach, where dozens of bright red starfish rest peacefully in the shallow, crystal-clear sea. A golden rule for visitors is to admire the starfish without removing them from the water, ensuring that future travelers can continue to experience this natural wonder.
