New President of the Cannes Film Festival Jury
The position has been awarded to actress Juliette Binoche
French actress Juliette Binoche has been appointed President of the Jury for the 78th Cannes Film Festival, which will take place from May 13 to May 24, 2025. The remaining jury members will be announced in April.
“I look forward to sharing this experience with my fellow jurors and the audience. In 1985, I walked up these steps for the first time, filled with the enthusiasm and uncertainty of a young actress. Never could I have imagined that 40 years later, I would be standing here as the jury president. I deeply appreciate this extraordinary privilege and responsibility,” Binoche commented.
