How to know that the workout does not suit you?
Learn to listen to your body and find the proper exercise level

Exercise should boost your energy, not drain it. If you finish a workout feeling completely exhausted rather than simply tired or notice certain changes in your body, it may be time to reconsider whether your training is truly benefiting you.
You’re not seeing progress or results
If weeks have passed and your endurance isn’t improving, your muscles aren’t strengthening, and your body isn’t changing, your workout may be either too easy or too intense, leaving your body without the necessary resources to recover and adapt. As a result, progress stalls.
You constantly feel pain and discomfort
Mild muscle soreness is normal, but if you’re experiencing sharp pain in your joints, back, or ligaments, it’s a red flag. This could indicate poor exercise technique or a workout that doesn’t match your fitness level. Additionally, if you feel completely worn out for several days after training, it may be a sign of overtraining.

You’re bored and have no motivation to go to the gym
If your workout doesn’t bring joy or excitement, and you find yourself avoiding it or forcing yourself to go, it may be time to try a different form of exercise. Finding an activity you genuinely enjoy is key to maintaining long-term motivation and consistency.
You’re getting sick more often or feeling chronically fatigued
Excessive training can weaken the immune system. If you’re experiencing frequent colds, persistent fatigue, or trouble sleeping, your body may be signaling that it needs a different training approach or more recovery time.
What should you do?
The most important thing is to listen to your body. Try modifying your routine, reducing intensity, or exploring a new type of workout. Exercise should make you stronger and happier, not drained and unmotivated.
