The Presidential Suite of the Hilton Hotel recently hosted a presentation of Sisley’s skincare and makeup collections, offering guests a unique opportunity to explore the brand’s products and its rich history.
Marina, Communications specialist at the marketing department shared:
«There’s a beautiful story behind the name Sisley. Founders Hubert and Isabelle d’Ornano met at a classic car gathering and bonded over their admiration for the artist Alfred Sisley – one of the pioneers of Impressionism, who exclusively painted nature. Inspired by his artistic vision, they chose a name that reflects their commitment to phyto-cosmetology and the power of nature.
We were eager to connect with bloggers, and people passionate about beauty, deeply engaged in the industry, and constantly seeking new insights into the world of cosmetics. There are countless formal presentations where we could have spent hours discussing ingredients and formulations. But when it comes to a family legacy and a brand with deep-rooted traditions, we wanted to immerse everyone in the atmosphere of the d’Ornano family home – the very essence of Sisley and its continuous evolution. Sisley is not just about business; it’s about the family’s inspiration drawn from nature, and we wanted to share that sentiment with the guests who joined us.
Our goal was to create a relaxed and informal setting because above all, we are about emotions, about love – not just at the level of knowledge, but at the level of feeling. We wanted people to experience and carry those emotions forward».
Sisley Paris’ Training Expert, Natalia Abramova, led an engaging presentation, tracing the evolution of the family-owned company. She highlighted the brand’s pioneering role in phyto-cosmetology – a field in which Sisley has been a global leader for decades. Today, the brand is recognized across five continents and its products have won numerous prestigious awards. Sisley products are available in more than a hundred countries.
The event’s ambiance was a reflection of the d’Ornano family home, adorned with fresh flowers, portraits of the founders, and an inviting aroma of coffee intertwined with Sisley’s signature fragrances. Guests were invited to explore three product zones, featuring skincare, makeup, and haircare. Each guest received a personalized consultation with Alexey Chebotarev, Sisley’s National Makeup Artist, who tailored recommendations to individual skin types and facial features.
