The singer may star in the film
Singer Charli XCX is reportedly being considered for the role of the White Witch in the upcoming adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia, directed by Greta Gerwig. In the original Disney trilogy, this role was portrayed by Tilda Swinton.
Negotiations for casting are still ongoing, and no final decision has been made yet. Given Charli XCX’s increasing involvement in film projects, her acting career is gaining momentum, and she may soon become a contender for future awards.
The film is expected to premiere in November 2026, with filming set to begin in the summer of 2025.
