New geometry of the season
How asymmetry has stormed into global runway shows once again

Crooked doesn’t mean bad – at least, not when we’re talking dresses instead of bangs. The Spring-Summer 2025 season urges us to stray from the straight and narrow and inject a bit of dynamism and avant-garde flair into our looks through asymmetric garments. Asymmetry has taken over not only hemlines but also sleeves, collars, and even the silhouettes of tailored suits, as seen in this year’s spring-summer collections.
Uneven lines and off-center accents – perfection is no longer the goal nowadays. What matters now is creating intrigue. Fashion once again shows us that imperfection is the new chic.
