Pharrell Williams awarded France’s Legion of Honour
Recognition for outstanding contributions to music and design
Pharrell Williams, renowned for his achievements in music and production, as well as his role as Creative Director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear line, has been named a Knight of the Legion of Honour. This is the highest civilian distinction in France, awarded for exceptional contributions to culture, the arts, and public life.
The ceremony took place on July 13, on the eve of Bastille Day. Williams was honored for his creative work and long-standing collaboration with French fashion houses. Since 2023, he has held a pivotal role at Louis Vuitton, significantly influencing the evolution of fashion and contemporary design.
