Taylor Swift releases “The Life of a Showgirl”

Taylor Swift has announced her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” set for release on October 3. The singer unveiled the main cover along with four alternative editions: “Sweat and Vanilla Perfume”, “It’s Frightening”, “It’s Rapturous”, and “It’s Beautiful”. Each is designed in the signature palette of the new era – mint and bright orange. The album will feature 12 tracks, including “The Fate of Ophelia”, “Elizabeth Taylor”, “CANCELLED!”, and a duet with Sabrina Carpenter. According to Taylor, the album was born during breaks in the European leg of the Eras Tour and is dedicated to backstage life: “This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour. I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating.” The photoshoot for the covers was conducted by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott
