Mukhammaddiyor Muminov’s exhibition
On August 16 at 20:00, the personal exhibition of Uzbek artist Mukhammaddiyor Muminov will open at the Nukus89 space. The exposition includes 11 new works united by a single story. The fate of a young woman is told from two points of view – her own and that of an outside observer. Each painting is an attempt to understand where the line lies between personal truth and someone else’s perspective. The series continues Muminov’s key theme – female subjectivity and its collision with external limitations. The exhibition will run until September 21.
