Valentino CEO steps down
Taking a break for personal reasons

Jacopo Venturini has stepped down as CEO of the fashion house Valentino by mutual agreement, deciding to take a break for personal reasons. His successor’s name has not yet been announced. Since 2020, Venturini has been redefining the brand as an Italian haute couture house: eliminating the use of fur, closing the Red Valentino line, launching the cultural project Re-Signify, and actively expanding its presence in the Chinese market. Creative director Alessandro Michele remains in his role. His debut collection, titled Avant les Débuts, has already been previewed as part of the cruise line, with the full runway show scheduled for October 5 in Paris. The collection blends Valentino’s archival motifs with Michele’s eccentric aesthetic – pearls, ruffles, tweed, and vintage silhouettes.
