Tilda Swinton – the face of TF Fragrance
A new version of a cult classic
Tom Ford Beauty has unveiled its new campaign for Black Orchid Reserve, fronted by Tilda Swinton. Shot by Inez and Vinoodh, the campaign was developed under the creative direction of Haider Ackermann.
Black Orchid Reserve is a modern reinterpretation of the house’s iconic 2006 Black Orchid fragrance. The updated formula introduces a rare note – Ghost Orchid – a white floral accord that contrasts with the rich depth of the original composition, which includes truffle, orchid, patchouli, and dark chocolate.
According to Swinton, the fragrance embodies transformation and the celebration of magical properties, and taking part in the campaign was “a pure joy and the heartfelt celebration of long friendship.”
The fragrance launched in the UK on August 13, with a global release set for September 1.
