The best looks from the Met Gala 2026

The Met Gala 2026 turned the red carpet into a living gallery, with this year’s “Fashion Is Art” dress code inspiring some of the most theatrical and concept-driven looks of the season. Beyoncé made a powerful entrance in Olivier Rousteing, while Madonna transformed her Saint Laurent look into a surrealist statement. Heidi Klum leaned fully into the theme with a sculptural interpretation of the “Veiled Vestal,” and Anne Hathaway brought classical references to the carpet with a gown inspired by a Grecian urn.

Among the evening’s strongest moments were also Alexa Chung in Dior, Adwoa Aboah in Simone Rocha and Kim Kardashian in a body-focused look by Allen Jones and Whitaker Malem. More than a parade of beautiful gowns, this year’s Met Gala celebrated fashion as performance, sculpture and visual storytelling.
