Alaïa and Dior
Double exhibition
From November 20 to May 3, 2026, Paris’s La Galerie Dior will host an exhibition showcasing more than 100 archival Dior pieces from the personal collection of Azzedine Alaïa, many of which have never before been shown to the public. At the same time, the Azzedine Alaïa Foundation will present 30 vintage Dior looks alongside 30 of Alaïa’s own creations, revealing how the house of Dior influenced the designer’s work.
Alaïa’s fashion archive comprises around 600 pieces, primarily by Christian Dior himself, but also by his successors – Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, and John Galliano. Both exhibitions are curated by Olivier Saillard and Gaël Mamine.
