Aral Sea Marathon 2025
Charity run
The charity run Aral Sea Marathon 2025 will take place at a yurt camp by the Aral Sea. The run is scheduled in honor of World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, drawing attention to the region’s environmental issues. The route runs along the dried seabed.
The marathon is open to the general public, and part of the proceeds will go to support children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Participants will also enjoy a tour-safari, visits to the ship cemetery and canyons. Distances available are 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km.
