«The Office Gets Emotional»
The Boss Spring 2026 collection is inspired by an imagined dialogue between emotional choreographer Pina Bausch and minimalist design master Dieter Rams. The line explores the contrasts of German culture – emotion versus minimalism.
Classic suits are reinterpreted through layering: unbuttoned shirts, loose ties, culottes with suspenders, voluminous trousers, and silk shirts paired with casually knotted scarves. Dresses feature pockets and deep necklines, while knit tops are styled with sharply tailored trousers. Outerwear includes glossy coats and trench coats.
The creative director noted that the team approached the archives from a values-based perspective. The collection captures the spirit of Sturm und Drang.
