Dior at the Brooklyn Museum

This year’s annual Artists Ball at the Brooklyn Museum was dedicated to Darren Walker, president of the Ford Foundation. The event raises funds to support art exhibitions and educational programs through financial and social initiatives. Maria Grazia Chiuri, Stephanie Ingrassia, and Amanda Waldron served as co-chairs of the evening.

The space was designed by artist Jeffrey Gibson, this year’s creative partner for the Ball. He drew inspiration from his 2020 exhibition Jeffrey Gibson: When Fire Is Applied to a Stone It Cracks, which explored vibrant color, complex patterns, layered texts, found artifacts, and sound, blending Western and Indigenous cultural references.
