Dior unveils Fall-Winter 2025 collection
Satirical modernism

Maria Grazia Chiuri continues the narrative from her couture collection, delving into historical costumes for Fall-Winter 2025. The creative director drew inspiration from Sally Potter’s 1992 film adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s novel Orlando, in which Tilda Swinton played the main role.

The collection reinterprets period silhouettes through high-collared jackets, sculptural lace dresses, wide-cuffed shirts, sloping-shoulder coats, corsets, parkas, and hybrid footwear blending boots and pumps. To bring this vision to life, Chiuri collaborated with costume designer Sandy Powell, who worked on the original film.

Maria Grazia once again revisits T-shirts emblazoned with "J’adore", a signature Dior motif. Echoing elements from her haute couture collection, she introduces mini crinoline dresses and moto-inspired ensembles softened with lace. Accessories play a bold role, with berets, knee-high socks, and fringed handbags completing the Christian Dior Fall-Winter 2025 lineup.
