From September 29 to October 5, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will host the second Festival of French Premieres. Over the course of a week, audiences will be able to discover films that have never previously been released in the region. The program will include new festival selections, family animation, documentary features, and classics. The festival will open with the film “François Truffaut, My Life, a Screenplay” (2024), personally presented by director David Teboul.

The festival is organized by the Tashkent Film School, the Embassies of France in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, the French Institute, and the Center for the Development of National Cinematography of Uzbekistan.
