Last night in New York, the Gotham Television Awards honored the best new television projects.
At the second annual Gotham TV Awards, the breakout drama ‘Adolescence’ emerged as the big winner, taking home three out of four nominations, including “Breakthrough Limited Series” and “Outstanding Lead Performance in a Limited Series.”
In the “Breakthrough Drama Series” category, ‘The Pitt’ claimed the top prize, while Kathy Bates won “Outstanding Lead Performance in a Drama Series” for her role in ‘Matlock’. Other honorees included Sheryl Lee Ralph, who received the Sidney Poitier Icon Award, and Parker Posey, who was presented with the inaugural “Legend” award.
