Jacquemus and Nike
Updated Moon Shoe model
Jacquemus and Nike have unveiled an updated version of the Moon Shoe. The sneakers are crafted from nylon with leather inserts and feature the logos of both brands. The design has been reimagined through a ballet-inspired aesthetic – with an elasticated heel and delicate gathered details. The original Moon Shoe was created by Nike for the 1972 Olympic Games and became the brand’s first sneaker with a waffle sole.
The updated model will be available in Jacquemus boutiques on September 28, on the brand’s website on September 29, and on the Nike SNKRS platform on October 6.
The campaign is fronted by actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez, star of the series “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.”
