Jacquemus closes Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week wrapped with a show by Jacquemus, held at the Orangerie of the Palace of Versailles – a location rich with personal meaning for Simon Porte Jacquemus, who had previously staged a show there in 2023.

The designer dedicated his new collection to family and his rural roots. The poetic title, Le Paysan, translates to “The Peasant” in French. The collection featured predominantly monochrome looks in white, sand, sky blue, and sunny yellow. It included layered silhouettes, sheer capes, delicate lace ensembles, flowing blouses with ruffles, and loose tailoring.
