Japanese Culture Days
A deep dive into tradition

The Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture will host Japanese Culture Days from August 1 to 3. Visitors can explore a wide range of exhibitions, including Kabuki actor woodblock prints, Noh theater posters by Norio Fujishiro, Noh masks, traditional tea ceremony utensils, obi belts, kimono, as well as photography and food replicas showcasing Japanese cuisine.
The event program also features hands-on workshops in kimono dressing, mask and daruma doll painting, sashiko and amigurumi techniques, sakura painting, and origami. Guests will also have the opportunity to sample Japanese sweets and tea, as well as enjoy traditional games. Workshop fees range from 70,000 to 100,000 UZS, and admission to the event is free.
