Kirill Richter’s “Sands of Time” show held at the London Coliseum

The premiere of the multimedia show Sands of Time by renowned composer and pianist Kirill Richter took place on September 11 at the London Coliseum. The program is presented by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation.
This impressive and unique event blended music, poetry, visual effects, and video installations, transforming the entire venue into a living, constantly evolving work of art.
Richter was joined on stage by his ensemble, The Richter Trio (Alena Zinovieva on violin and August Krepak on cello), as well as the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, conducted by Alibek Kabdurakhmanov.
The program featured selected works by Richter, including pieces from his debut album Chronos, as well as anthems composed for the World Cup and the Olympic Games.
