Louis Vuitton is taking its retail experience to the next level with plans to open a mega-flagship store in Los Angeles by 2029. The project is being designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry and interior designer Peter Marino, with construction set to begin next year.

The building will be located between Rodeo Drive and Beverly Drive and will consist of two separate structures connected by pedestrian bridges.

The Rodeo Drive entrance will lead to a three-story retail space spanning 45,000 square feet.

It will house women’s and men’s collections, beauty products, fragrances, jewelry, and travel goods. A dedicated floor for private client spaces and a rooftop garden are also part of the design.

The Beverly Drive-facing building will cover 55,000 square feet. The first two floors will serve as an exhibition space for Louis Vuitton, while the third floor will include a café and lounge area, topped with a rooftop restaurant and terrace.
