Louis Vuitton has opened an exhibition dedicated to the centenary of Art Deco. The show, held at the LV Dream space in Paris, features more than 300 archival pieces, including trunks, travel sets, and accessories that once belonged to Jeanne Lanvin, Paul Poiret, Igor Stravinsky, and Ignacy Paderewski. A special section is dedicated to Gaston-Louis Vuitton, the founder’s grandson, who presented the brand at the 1925 International Exhibition of Decorative Arts. The exhibition spans eight thematic rooms, including a reconstruction of the brand’s original 1925 pavilion, archival showcases, period materials, advertising sketches, and contemporary creations by Marc Jacobs, Nicolas Ghesquière, Pharrell Williams, and Kim Jones.

The exhibition is open until October 22, and part of the displays will later become a highlight of a centenary project at the Museum of Decorative Arts.
