Martin Margiela’s works to be auctioned
Kerry Taylor Auctions and Maurice Auction present over 300 lots
Auction houses Kerry Taylor Auctions and Maurice Auction will showcase early works by Martin Margiela, dating from 1988 to 1994. The auction will feature more than 300 lots.
Two days before the auction, an exhibition featuring pieces designed by Margiela will occur. The garments are owned by sisters Angela and Elena Picozzi, who founded the Italian sample-making and clothing production firm Castor Fashion.
The auction, dedicated to Margiela, will take place on January 27 in an abandoned building at 81 Boulevard Voltaire in Paris’ 11th arrondissement.
