Memorabile.Ipermo exhibition to open in Rome
Curated by Maria Luisa Frisa, a tribute to contemporary fashion
The Memorabile.Ipermo exhibition, dedicated to contemporary fashion, is set to open at the National Museum of 21st Century Arts (MAXXI) in Rome. The showcase explores the intertwining of artistic approaches and innovative techniques within the fashion industry, as well as the impact of economics and other global phenomena on the creative world.
“These are challenging times, and the exhibition raises questions that remain unresolved. The fashion industry is undergoing incredible transformations; clothing is no longer at the heart of fashion as it once was,” notes curator Maria Luisa Frisa.
The exhibition space will feature pieces, photographs, and catalogs from iconic fashion houses, including Gucci, Valentino, Versace, Balenciaga, and more. Organized in collaboration with the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, the exhibition is supported by Fondazione Bulgari.
Visitors can explore the Memorabile.Ipermo exhibition from November 27 to March 25.
