From June 20 to 24, Milan was stylish, all thanks to Men’s Fashion Week. This season, designers didn’t just present spring/summer 2026 collections – they also redefined the concept of masculinity.

The lineup of shows opened with Setchu, marking the Japanese brand’s debut at Milan Fashion Week. Designer Satoshi Kuwata, winner of the 2023 LVMH Prize, dove deep into the theme of fishing for inspiration. The result was a gender-neutral collection that seamlessly mixed fishing gear aesthetics with a blend of Japanese and Western tailoring, all brought to life through delicate artisanal craftsmanship.

Paul Smith also presented his first-ever show at Milan Fashion Week. Though the legendary Sir Paul Smith has long felt at home in Paris, it was in Milan that he unveiled one of his most striking and memorable collections of the season. Relaxed classics in the finest British tradition: vibrant shirts, ties, and belts paired with more muted hues created the sense that a man could be both serious and playful, without needing to choose.

Dolce & Gabbana, meanwhile, threw a full-on pajama party. Silk suits, relaxed silhouettes, sheer fabrics, and shimmering details created the mood of a leisurely morning in a five-star Italian hotel. Judging by their vision for spring/summer 2026, the future isn’t about “riding high” – it’s about the vibes: freedom, comfort, and the pure joy of living.

The show wrapped with Giorgio Armani. Though the maestro himself was unable to take his final bow due to health reasons, his presence was deeply felt. The brand’s DNA came through in a tonal palette of blues to silvery greys, in fluid silhouettes, and in a design language that evoked Mediterranean elegance at its most refined. The collection breathed with ease – just as a grand finale to a true fashion week should.
