New “Harry Potter” cast
The list of actors is revealed
The television adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s fantasy saga has unveiled the new cast for the first season, which will be based on “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”.
Katherine Parkinson will portray Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt will take on the role of Draco Malfoy, and Johnny Flynn will play Lucius Malfoy. Leo Earley is cast as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, and Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown. Bel Powley will portray Petunia Dursley, Daniel Rigby will play Vernon, and Bertie Carvel will appear as Cornelius Fudge.
It was previously announced that the lead roles of Harry, Hermione, and Ron will be played by Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alistair Stout. The Dursley family will be portrayed by Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby.
