Nicole Mary Kidman is an Australian-American actress, singer, producer, and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. She won an Oscar in 2003 for her portrayal of Virginia Woolf in “The Hours” and has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Kidman landed her first film role at age 16 in “Bush Christmas” (1983), and later gained widespread attention with Phillip Noyce’s thriller “Dead Calm” (1989), which made her a Hollywood favorite.

Throughout her career, she has appeared in more than 100 films and TV series, with standout performances in “The Others”, “Dogville”, “Grace of Monaco”, “Big Little Lies”, and “The Hours”, which earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2002.
