Gayane Umerova was honored for her cultural contribution with a prestigious award in France
On March 31, a formal ceremony was held at the Ministry of Culture of France. Gayane Umerova, Chair of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, was awarded the Order of Arts and Letters (the Officier rank). French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati acknowledged Uzbekistan’s meaningful role in fostering cultural dialogue and emphasized the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The Order of Arts and Letters is one of France’s most prestigious honors, bestowed annually upon a select group of individuals who have made outstanding contributions to art and culture.
