Every season, fashion sets new rules, and color becomes the primary tool. From rich hues to soft pastel tones — in Autumn 2024, it’s all about playing with contrasts and adding expressive details.

Earthy khaki

This shade of green dominated the Fall-Winter 2024 runways and frequently appeared in collections by Burberry, Ferragamo, Gucci, and Bottega Veneta. Designers used it in monochromatic looks and paired it with neutral colors such as beige, gray, and black.

Cobalt blue

This year, Pantone highlighted two leading shades of blue: sky blue and cobalt. Miu Miu and Bottega Veneta suggest incorporating it into accessories or outerwear. To emphasize the vibrancy of the color, it’s best to pair it with white and gray.

Muted pink

Although this color isn’t typically associated with the colder seasons, designers have decided to incorporate it into their collections. Chanel featured light pink in a range of accessories, while Prada suggested dresses and outerwear in this shade. In Autumn 2024, wear soft and muted pink tones with black or light gray, or pair them with beige and green.

Multi-faceted gray

As a neutral color, gray hasn’t gone unnoticed this season, ranging from light tones to deeper shades. MaxMara and Michael Kors showcased numerous monochrome looks featuring this versatile gray. It will also look striking in contrast with black or blue.

Deep bordeaux

This rich wine shade has become a runaway favorite. It appears in both evening looks and everyday outfits. Combine Bordeaux with beige or cream tones, as seen in Chloe’s styling, or use it as an accessory to add bold accents.
