The Pantone NYFW Fashion Color Trend Report has revealed the 10 defining shades of the season, reflecting a spirit of “Quirkiness and Originality” and drawing inspiration from vintage fashion. The palette includes Lava Falls (a rich, saturated red), Muskmelon (a vibrant orange), Alexandrite (a teal-like blue-green), Dusty Rose and Tea Rose (two romantic pinks), along with Burnt Sienna (a rusty, earthy red), Burnished Lilac (a muted lavender), Acacia (a green-yellow), Marina (a marine blue), and Amaranth (a deep, purplish crimson).

The selection of core neutrals features Sage Green (a soft gray-green), Sycamore (a deep forest green), Coffee Bean (a rich chocolate brown), and White Onyx (a gentle, creamy white). According to Pantone’s Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman, green is increasingly being perceived as a new neutral, while the tactile quality of color has become a key factor in consumer choice. The season’s biggest trends emphasize unexpected combinations and the blending of past and present.
