Prada appoints Chief Communication Officer
Ahead of the Versace deal

Prada Group has announced the appointment of Christopher Bugg to the newly created position of Chief Communication Officer. He previously held the role of Marketing and Communications Director in Asia. In his new role, Bugg will oversee global strategies for the group’s brands, including Prada, Miu Miu, Church’s, Car Shoe, and Versace. Bugg joined the company in 2020 and formerly served as Director of Group Communications. His appointment comes as the company prepares to finalize the acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings for €1.25 billion. The deal is expected to close in the second half of the year, with the first collection under new Creative Director Dario Vitale set to be unveiled on September 26 in Milan in an intimate presentation.
