Prada launches juicy Banana Yellow lip balm inspired by archival fruit motif
Italian fashion house Prada has introduced a new shade of its moisturizing Prada Balm – Banana Yellow, inspired by the iconic banana print from the Spring 2011 collection. The vibrant new release from the Prada Balm line officially hit the market after singer Sabrina Carpenter debuted it in her June music video “Manchild.”
The balm features a hydrating formula enriched with banana extract, jojoba oil, and bifidus. Its soft yellow hue comes in Prada’s signature triangular packaging and delivers a delicate shine with a sheer finish. The texture is inspired by the sensory feel of nylon fabric, which originally carried the house’s iconic banana print.
The effect is like ice crystals in banana granita: a hint of shimmer and long-lasting hydration. The balm is also multi-use, perfect not only for lips, but also as a subtle glow on the cheeks.
