Saint Laurent closes Paris Fashion Week
The brand presents its Fall-Winter 2025 collection

Anthony Vaccarello has once again proven his mastery in working with the Saint Laurent archives, skillfully transforming them into modern fashion. Before the show, he released a mini-interview with Amalia Vairelli, one of Yves Saint Laurent’s most iconic muses, who graced the brand’s runways and campaigns throughout the 1970s.
For the Fall-Winter 2025 collection, Vaccarello expanded the color palette, introducing “Parisian pink”, a shade taken from Saint Laurent’s Fall-Winter 1983 Paris collection, alongside deep chocolate, earthy neutrals, and signature black. Bold color blocking played a major role, with electric blue, vibrant orange, deep emerald, chartreuse, and magenta making striking appearances. Leopard print, a nod to the 1982 couture collection, was reimagined in glossy vinyl, while floral patterns, an essential element in Yves Saint Laurent’s creative history, were sealed within the fabric, a tribute to the brand’s iconic floral archives.

Now, shoulders grew even broader, skirts narrowed, and collars rose higher. The collection featured lace blouses and dresses, while bomber jackets extended in length, lowering the natural waistline. Cage skirts (crinolines), which closed the show, reinforced the dramatic motif.
