Sofia Coppola at the Venice Film Festival
A film about Marc Jacobs
Titled ‘Marc by Sofia’, Sofia Coppola’s first-ever documentary project will be screened out of competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, taking place from August 27 to September 6. The 97-minute film explores the creative journey of fashion designer Marc Jacobs and his decades-long friendship with Coppola.
The documentary features a wealth of archival footage, including scenes from the 1994 street runway show in New York organized by Coppola and Spike Jonze ahead of Marc Jacobs’ fashion presentation.
