Sofia Coppola presents a book
Chanel Haute Couture

Director Sofia Coppola has unveiled Chanel Haute Couture, a book celebrating the 110th anniversary of the fashion house’s haute couture. Spanning 448 pages, the publication features archival photographs, sketches, behind-the-scenes imagery, and Coppola’s personal recollections of her 1986 internship with Karl Lagerfeld. That formative experience shaped her aesthetic vision of fashion and became the starting point for the book’s visual concept.
Designed in a collage style, the book traces the era from Coco Chanel to Virginie Viard. Featured photographers include Man Ray, Steven Meisel, Helmut Newton, and Annie Leibovitz. The edition is published in collaboration with Éditions 7L and Coppola’s imprint, Important Flowers – price: $1,152.
