The “Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent” exhibition opens in Paris
A tribute to the floral motifs in the couturier’s work
The “Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent” exhibition, dedicated to the floral motifs in the couturier’s creations, has opened at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris. The exhibition features collections from various eras.
Among the showcased pieces are a straw hat from 1958, a black dress with extensive embroidery from Yves Saint Laurent’s first collection in 1962, and a rose-adorned bikini worn by Laetitia Casta during the Spring-Summer 1999 couture show.
The exhibition follows a similar exposition held this March at the Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech. The two museums have collaborated to create a joint project for the first time.
The “Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent” exhibition at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris will be open to visitors until May 4, 2025.
