“The Queen of Fashion”
Filming wraps on the Isabella Blow biopic

Filming has officially wrapped in the UK on “The Queen of Fashion”, a biopic dedicated to the iconic fashion editor and Alexander McQueen’s mentor, Isabella Blow. Director Alex Marks spent nine years developing what will be his feature-length directorial debut. The film is slated for release between late 2025 and early 2026. Based on the book “Blow by Blow”, the story traces Blow’s journey from London to her work at American Vogue. The leading roles are played by Andrea Riseborough and Joe Cole. A key moment in the film will be McQueen’s 1994 Nihilism runway show. Notably, 80% of the costumes come from the archive of Daphne Guinness.
