Uniqlo appoints new creative director

Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo has announced the appointment of Clare Waight Keller as its new creative director. She will oversee all of the brand’s lines, including LifeWear.

Previously, Keller was responsible for the Uniqlo: C line, with the first collection launched in September last year.

Before joining the Japanese brand, Keller served as the creative director for Givenchy, Chloé, and Pringle of Scotland. Additionally, she has worked as a designer with prominent brands such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Gucci.
