Vilnius Fashion Week
Europe’s new voice in fashion history

Europe continues to expand its fashion horizons, and while not so long ago we celebrated Copenhagen’s rise as a global style destination, today we are witnessing the emergence of a new chapter in the Lithuanian capital.
From August 29 to September 6, Vilnius was immersed in a fashion atmosphere that felt more like a cultural festival than a traditional fashion week, with a standard schedule of runway shows. The program resembled a curated art route: Sustainable Fashion Day at the City Hall, where young talents presented their eco-brands; La Moda Italiana at Lukiškės Prison 2.0 and the Italian Embassy; the Jour de Paris evening at the French Institute; the Polish Hope in Haute initiative with a charitable mission; and the main highlight – ELLE Iconic Night at the National Drama Theatre, where collections by Agnė Kuzmickaitė, Robert Kalinkin, and other leading Lithuanian designers were showcased.
The fashion breeze swept across the entire city: shop windows and public spaces transformed into stages for street style, and the whole capital turned into one big runway.
Yet the greatest value of Vilnius Fashion Week lies not in big names but in the feeling of a fresh beginning. The city is only starting to build its fashion story, but it is doing so with confidence and sincerity – through sustainability, creativity, and a culture of dialogue, combining not just visual aesthetics but also meaningful context.
