Visa Fashion Week’s third season took place in Tashkent
Escape the ordinary – the Fashion Week’s slogan.
On the 25th and 26th of May, 11 designers presented their collections in Tashkent. Azukar Moreno, Dilnoz, Mmax, Dildora Kasimova, LiLiya D’ulat, Durdona Nurmatova, Morobursin, ZhSaken, Zardozi, Aka Nanita, The Selfmade supported the theme of the third season – Escape the ordinary and presented the 2025 autumn-winter clothing lines.
The concept emerged against the background of global economic fluctuations, yet despite these, the fashion world continues to develop, fueled by the energy of changing consumer preferences. The theme of the season united the exploration of space, elements of science fiction, and the Middle Ages with modern fashion trends.
The space was decorated with an asteroid surrounded by orbits. Guests made an effort to adhere to the theme by choosing futuristic outfits. Adding a touch of traditionality were the show’s decorations: during the Mmax show, a young man playing the nai (flute), a wind instrument, stood on the carpet under the cotton arch; Dildora Kasimova’s performance occurred around an antique staircase, which was rolled onto the runway.
AzukarMoreno presented an implementation of the values of the national culture by refusing to use synthetic and industrial fabrics. The collections feature natural materials woven in Margilan, allowing the brand to preserve ancient traditions and support local handcraft communities. Seven lines, symbolizing the seven heavens, seven layers of the Earth, seven generations of fathers and grandfathers, and seven days of the week – everything finds reflection in the brand’s logo.
Dilnoz brand also pays special attention to the worship of national fabrics. They use natural materials such as adras, shoyi, alo-bakhmal, velvet, and chiffon in their manufacturing process. Additionally, their collections are characterized by enchanting hand embroidery and stitching, which brings us in touch with the culture of Uzbekistan.
The Zardoziа brand has called for the idea of uniting women. The Be Woman collection represents sensuality, inexhaustible strength, and beauty, reflecting the unity of women in Central Asia.
For designer, LiLiya D’ulat, her fascination with the life and creative journey of Amy Winehouse became her main source of inspiration. The brand’s creations reflected the traits of an aristocratic, gangster, and eccentric rebel.
During the third season of Visa Fashion Week Tashkent, special foreign guests were invited among the fashion audience: photographers Sara Trickett from London and Su Shan from Singapore, as well as Vogue Czechoslovakia’s fashion editor Jan Bublík.
