Yohji Yamamoto unveils Spring/Summer 2026 collection
Anxiety about the future becomes the inspiration

Yohji Yamamoto presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection at Paris Men's Fashion Week, channeling a deep sense of anxiety about the future of humanity. The designer created a collection that was dark yet poetic, with a punk-inspired attitude.
The runway featured insulated suits, silk robes, jumpsuits, and loose-fitting trousers. The looks were complemented by stained glass-style prints and powerful messages such as "No more wars" and "Your heart is like the ocean, mysterious and dark." Models wore leather sandals, torn sweaters, and chunky chains.
The show was accompanied by blues music, and Yamamoto himself performed covers of "Endless Love" and "Don't Look Back in Anger," emphasizing that the world needs songs of love and healing.
