Young artists from Karakalpakstan

The Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan has opened a showcase of young talents from Karakalpakstan. The exhibition brings together more than 120 works created over the past year under the curatorship of contemporary art researcher and Sorbonne PhD student Dilda Ramazan.

Among the featured artists are Temur Shardemet, Bakhtiyar Serekeev, Salamat Babadjanov, and Nawriz Aytmuratov. Their works reflect the creative explorations of a new generation of artists.

On September 16, Dilda Ramazan will deliver a curatorial lecture at 11:00, 13:00, and 16:00. The exhibition is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00, at 40 Sharaf Rashidov Avenue. Admission is free.
