Ural Tansykbaev in Tashkent
Anniversary exhibition for the artist’s 120th birthday
On September 3, the Art Gallery in Tashkent opened a jubilee exhibition dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Ural Tansykbaev, one of the founders of Uzbek painting. The exhibition features 124 works from museums in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, including paintings that have never before been displayed abroad. The project is organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Abilkhan Kasteev State Art Museum. The exhibition will run until November 1.
