Sabato De Sarno leaves Gucci
Fashion House announces the departure of its creative director
Gucci has announced the departure of Sabato De Sarno as Creative Director. The designer joined the brand in 2023, succeeding Alessandro Michele.
"I would like to express my deep gratitude to Sabato for his passion and dedication to Gucci. I sincerely appreciate how he honored the craftsmanship and heritage of the House with such commitment," said Stefano Cantino, CEO of Gucci.
Francesca Bellettini, Deputy CEO of Kering, overseeing brand development, added:
"I sincerely thank Sabato for his loyalty and professionalism. I am proud of the work done to further strengthen the foundation of Gucci. Stefano and the new creative direction will continue to build on this and lead Gucci toward renewed leadership in fashion and sustainable growth."
