Paris has unveiled its latest exhibition, "Golden Thread," exploring the historical use of gold in fashion across regions from North Africa to the Far East, dating back to prehistoric times. The exhibition takes place at the Musée du Quai Branly.

The display features a stunning array of garments, including wedding dresses, ceremonial robes, jackets, kimonos, and Rihanna's iconic gold ensemble from the 2015 Met Gala, designed by Chinese couturier Guo Pei. Visitors can also admire 40 embroidered pieces by Lesage, among them John Galliano’s Spring 2004 couture dress for Dior and a Chanel gown crafted by Karl Lagerfeld in 1996.The exhibition is curated by Hana Al Banna-Chidiac.
