Six finalists will be selected from the 25 most popular podcasts that have had a significant cultural impact over the past year. This decision reflects the growing influence of podcasts within the entertainment industry and their broader role in shaping global culture.
The Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place on January 11, 2026, with comedian Nikki Glaser returning as host. The official list of nominees, including those in the new Best Podcast category, will be announced at a later date.
